Scalding sands cradle Dragon eggs to warm their fiery midst, and have indents all year round from where the last clutch was lain. Every shard of every egg has been eagerly picked up by Dragon Impressing Hopefuls, as they are considered a good omen of impressing. When female Dragons Clutch, this is where the eggs will be deposited to harden on the sands until the day when they tumble out of their shells to greet their life-mates. There are several large Hatching Areas where the Dragons can lay their clutches each one is large enough to hold 5 Queen’s and their spectators and their clutches without squabbling. There are 20 Dragon Hatching Sands they are all the same size.
