A Solmon Wedding

4 large shuttles arrived on Pern, all 4 bore the markings of the Planet Vulcan. From all 4 shuttles came 20 Vulcan males. In front of each shuttle they formed a line of 10 on each side. From the first shuttle came a large group of women, an old man and woman and finally a young female, obviously the bride to be. From the second shuttle came a large group of men, an old man and an old woman and a young man who was obviously the groom. From the third shuttle came dignitaries. From the finally shuttle came a young man walking alone. He wore the cloak of the Matriarch of Vulcan. This was Shelby and he was there to officiate the wedding. He had performed this duty many times but only 5 of the hundreds he had performed had ended up in challenges. He hoped this one would be an easy one this time.

In the room where the ceremony was to be held there were several Cybertronian’s around it; 8 of them were wearing nobility cloaks of Vos. Flowerdancer looks over those who she had asked to help with protection; she and Skyfire were close to where Shelby would stand, a sword hung at Flowerdancer’s side. A single Cybertronian was nearby when the shuttles arrive and he kneels down to look at Shelby and says, "My name is Blaster Master, you must be Shelby Akadeanna asked me to be your escort."

Shelby nods at the Cybertronian. "Peace and Long Life, Blaster Master. Yes, I am Shelby. I am glad she asked you to be my escort. The couple you see with their families and the others are dignitaries. Lead the way to the ceremony area." His guards surrounded him as the others did the bride, groom and dignitaries.

Blaster Master returns the hand gesture to Shelby and says "Live Long and Prosper Shelby. A pleasure to finally meet you, she’s told me about you. She trusts me with her life and she is waiting in the ceremony area with the rest. That explains why so much protection and why you asked for as many Cybertronian’s Akadeanna could gather." He straightens up to his full height, only a helm shorter than Flowerdancer and guides the group to the room setup for the Ceremony. He says, "Akadeanna hopes it meets your approval."

Shelby was pleased. "It is a pleasure to finally meet you too Blaster Master. I'm glad that she does and that she is waiting in the ceremony area with the rest. Yes, that is why. I once helped her and Skyfire and this was their way of repaying me." Entering the room he nods approval. "It is perfect. It is just like the picture I had sent to her showing how it looks like on Vulcan. This is really proper. I almost feel like I am back on Vulcan. Only difference is, the weather is different. But the temperature in here is like on Vulcan." He moves in and closer to Flowerdancer and Skyfire and nods for the groom and his party to enter first. The honor guard came in first and took position at the entrance and the groom, his parents and party entered silently. The wedding party moved to either side of the ceremony platform, where Spalak waited. Next entered the honor guard of the bride who took up their places and the wedding party entered and then the bride and her parents. They too took their places and T'ling joined Spalak on the ceremony platform. Shelby waited till all were in position. Then he says, "This is our sacred ground where our ancestors have held their ceremonies for centuries. We come here today to join together Spalak and T'ling in front of those gathered here today. Let nothing disturb this ceremony. If both Spalak and T'ling are accepting of each other, then the ceremony shall happen. But she is permitted the challenge if she deems him unworthy." He bows to both in turn and waits.

Master Blaster smiles and says "Being that we are 2 of the living Knights Of Cybertron we have to be able to trust each other, there are also Dragonrider’s incase we have issues with rogue humans. Yes they both told me about that; and she is always true to her words." He smiles and says, "I’m glad it does, I helped her do this as well, and we all did. I’m glad it is. I have never had the honor of going to Vulcan, but I was born there I was raised on Earth. Yes I can understand it is different. Akadeanna made sure of that." When he moved, Blaster Master took his place with the others. The Cybertronian’s were respectfully quiet remembering Flowerdancer’s words. A few using their bonds when they needed to talk.

Shelby nods. "I see. I heard at one time there were 13 Knights of Cybertron but the others died in battle with the one you call Unicron. Of course you trust each other. That is good that there ae dragonriders incase we have issues with rogue humans. Such things are unknown on Vulcan as you well know. We are a peaceful people. I'm glad that they have. Yes, I know she is." He nods. "Of course it does. I'm glad that you did as well and that you all did. Yes, it is. You are always welcome on Vulcan. I didn't know you were born on Vulcan but was raised on earth. Yes, it is different. I'm glad that she did. Our world is a desert planet, that's why we need it this hot." Shelby waited and the couple moved in unison towards the sacred fire pit which stood behind Shelby. This was where it would begin. Neither spoke but stood before the flames. The 2 gazed into the flames, feeling the burning in their bodies but this was not from the fire but from within each other. Then they moved to each other's side, and using the fingertips of their right hands, touched each others cheeks to touch certain areas, focal points. This was the actual joining of their minds, becoming one with each other. Then together they moved together towards Shelby for the final blessing of their leader, when gouts of flame burst into the area, scattering people in a panic running towards the 4 shuttles, leaving Shelby and the couple unprotected.

Blaster Master says, "Yes there once was 3 knights of Cybertron I was not one of the originals I was their teacher; but my grandsire gave me his sword before he passed on; Unicron is like Solirak to the Vulcan people, he is our devil so to speak. Of course we do. She insisted to make this safer. Yes I know. Yes I know that as well." He smiles and says, "Thats what we were hoping for. Of course we all did, it might be a little larger then Vulcan, but it is to accomodate us. Thank you. Well now you know that I was, I am son of Skyflamer and Skywind Star, they died though when I was 2 days old, I went to Earth to be with my Grandsire. That's what I heard that it is a desert planet. Of course." One Dragonrider spoke verbally this time and he yells, "Protect the group, fire!" His own dragon took to the air, but flies low enough and he reaches to the side and offers his arm to Shelby and says "Take my hand! I can protect you!" Another rider pair did that for the couple as well.

Shelby took the offered arm and the help up and so did the couple. A very large bronze led the group of 5 dragons as they attacked the area. Dorse motioned to the others to spread out the attack as the dragons attacked but Dorse had a very large target in mind. He went after the large Seeker. Boorth. Attack that large Seeker over there. The bronze did as he was commanded and flamed Flowerdancer. That felt good, mine.

The Rider smiles when Shelby accepted his help and when the coupe accepted the help from the other rider. Flowerdancer growls; the riders disappearing with their group heading to their rooms. The rider helps Shelby down and he says, "The couple are safe they are in the room right next to where we are." Stinger who was there sent a blast towards the rider; he didn’t know how the female Seeker was connected to their family, but it didn’t matter.

Dorse says, "Oh, playing dirty are we? I don't like those who play dirty with me." He did a loop-de-loop around the other dragon and blasted it from behind aiming for aimed for the other flyer, flaming them as well and then doing a spiral spin blasted the Seeker in the aft for good measure. He sent a mental thought, never try and impersonate that type of Seeker in my presence again or you will feel my wrath to no end.

Stinger says, "You mess with my family, you get burned." The bi-colored Seeker raises a brow at Starlight’s words about his family, then raised both and says I’m not impersonating anyone; this is my true form since I was 6.

Dorse snorts. "Oh yeah? Well you mess with Cobra and I'll blast you straight to the second star on the right and straight on till morning." Dorse snorts. Bullshit you ain't impersonating someone. I know that form from the past and that form was destroyed on Cybertron 3 years ago in an explosion. We all heard about that. 2 were destroyed that day from what we heard. So don't lie to me.

Stinger says, "I’ve dealt with Cobra for centuries before you were a twinkle in your creators eyes, back when they were still the Darkwalkers, I was known to them as Petran the terrible. Oh I could do worse then you could ever do pipsqueak." Flowerdancer laughs and says Oh yes I remember that day Skyfire died originally, but not this time I warped out saving my life. Only Flowerdancer Prime could wield the Leadership Sword of the Knights Of Cybertron; and this, she pauses and shows the sword before saying is that sword.

Dorse snorts. "Back when we were the Darkwalkers I was known as Ivan the Terrible, I'll have you know. I feared nobody then and I still don't. I'd watch who you care calling pipsqueak, Pushla? You are nothing." Dorse snorts. I know what day he died. Oh is that so? There is no way to change the past. Not even Galaxia can do that, I'll have you know. Oh is that so? she glares at the sword. She yellse, "Cobra retreat. This one's a demon." She and her bronze flew off headed back to Kingston Hold.
